Summa Health System recently opened a 3,800-square-foot outpatient center for clinical trials at Akron City Hospital. The Summa Center for Clinical Trials (SCCT) operates on the principal that high quality, innovative clinical research improves clinical care and community health. The SCCT is committed to promoting research excellence and facilitating study implementation, to ensure successful and efficient completion of clinical trials throughout Summa Health System. 

Akron General Medical Center

At Akron General Medical Center, an entire team of clinical research coordinators and investigators recruit and manage participants for clinical trials in areas.

Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute, Akron Children's Hospital

The Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute is the hub for research and innovation activity at Akron Children's Hospital. The institute facilitates sponsored clinical studies as well as internal investigator-initiated research programs across a spectrum of research subjects.
