AKRON, OHIO - November 14, 2011 - The Akron BioMedical Corridor - a unique cluster of high-quality hospitals and universities, biomaterials research and development organizations, and startup biomedical companies located in Akron, Ohio - is one of more than 4,000 exhibitors attending the annual MEDICA World Forum for Medicine/International Trade Fair with Congress. The forum is to be held November 16-19 in Düsseldorf, Germany. MEDICA is the the strongest medical industry trade fair outside of the North American continent for U.S. and Canadian companies. It regularly features around 4,400 exhibitors from around the world displaying OEM products and services throughout 19 halls and spanning nearly 1.3 million net square feet of exhibit space. With an expected 450+ exhibitors from the United States of America and Canada, North America will offer one of the leading foreign contingents of exhibitors.
MEDICA is also welcoming some 138,000 visitors from well over 100 countries who are expected to obtain information on current and future trends in in-patient and out-patient care.
