Polymer-Bound Technology to Control Microbes

Working to control microbial activity and odor in industrial and health care applications, Adjuvant Polymers, Inc. is developing a new polymer-bound chlorine technology. This new technology attaches chlorine to a polymer backbone, regulating how chlorine interacts with the environment. Initially, this technology will be available in the form of liquid treatments and treated fabric.

It can eliminate a wide array of microbes while preventing the generation of resistant mutations. While the products contain chlorine, they are not bleach. They are also non-toxic with a lifespan of several months.
